Testimonials & Feedback from Satisfied Clients

Re. Amen Lodge

Dear Judith,

We want to thank you for the opportunity you gave us to spend a very pleasant time in London. The appartement was nice, comfortable and very well situated. Everything was fine and well organized.

We don't plan to come again for the moment, because our children would like to go to other countries in Europe, but we shall make you a good advertising.

Best regards
 Odile B

Re: Elystan Street 2BR

Dear Judith,

Your e-mail this morning reminded me that I wanted to get back to you since my return and thank you again for your help in getting this flat on such short notice.
Yes, I was very pleased with the flat.  The flat itself was comfortable and quiet, and the location could not have been better.  It turns out that I know the neighborhood very well because I attend board meetings every four months at offices just one block away.  The flat was also immaculate when I moved in, and I hope that it was in fairly good shape when we moved out.  My son and his friend were responsible for the cleaning and they assured me that everything was fine.
As I said, I am in London often and when I know I am going to be there for a week or longer it makes sense for me to rent a flat rather than stay in a hotel.  I will be in touch, and hope to use your services again soon.

Re: Eardley Crescent

Hi Judith,

Our stay at Eardley Crescent was a relaxing, comfortable experience. We quickly
felt at home, so we treated the place as our own and we didn't want to leave. We
loved the quiet garden patio behind the bedroom. We had no trouble cooking,
doing laundry, or figuring out the appliances and heating. The easy access to
the tube, buses, shops, and restaurants was a blessing.

We found Londoners to be wonderful and helpful. Even though we read up on the
tube, buses, and currency exchange, situations came up and many wonderful people
offered us help when we got confused. Thank you for the experience of learning
how Londoners live.

Re: Gordon Place
Hello, Judith

First of all, thank you for returning our security deposit so promptly, we appreciate your attentiveness.  I apologize for not responding sooner to your note, but as soon as we returned home, we were off on another 8 day unplanned vacation.

We loved the location of Gordon Place.  We enjoyed living with the residents, watching them go to work in the morning, escorting their children to school or simply out walking with their dogs.  Having Marks and Spencer virtually next door meant that we never went hungry or ran out of wine.  The proximity to the tube and bus stops, made getting around easily.  We also walked to Kensington Park with ease.  We really felt a part of the community, especially the corner pub.

We found the apartment spacious and bright and well furnished.  We could hear the rumble from the tube, but after awhile could ignore it.  There is no doubt that the place is a hidden jewel.

We absolutely loved London and were out to the theatre, opera or concerts 11 of the 13 nights that we were there.  We felt safe everywhere and found the locals very helpful.  We found London expensive, but worth every penny.  We shall return!

Re: Old Church Street (Merlins Eyot)

Dear Judith,

I wanted to let you know what a great choice Merlins Eyot turned out to be for a family with teenagers. I had been a little bit concerned about not being right by a tube stop, but riding the buses to Sloane Square worked out great. Also, my kids felt so safe and comfortable in the area they became very independent, going out shopping alone and getting the papers for us every morning. My husband really enjoyed jogging along the Thames Embankment in the morning. It turned out to be a great flat for us!

Re: Studio A, Red Lion Square

Dear Judith,

I have jotted down a small testimonial about the apartment. Feel free to copy and paste it as you desire. I really did enjoy it.

This quintessential London pad was everything one would want in a holiday space. It was furnished in an Art Deco style with spectacular hand carved mirrors that harked back to a different era. Outside the green leafy square beckoned and as a bonus it held at its gate a tiny café – so the smell of freshly brewed coffee beckoned throughout the afternoon.
The studio was within walking distance of Convent Garden, the West End theatres and St. Paul’s Cathedral but because it was just off the main thoroughfare it retained a quiet and peacefulness. The Square’s leafy green bounty must have influenced the literary genius of the Bloomsbury set who inhabited the area during the early twentieth century – giving them space to write and contemplate while simultaneously being stimulated by the hub of the city at their feet.
It was a secure, clean, cosy haven with all the comforts of home, albeit in a condensed style which suited the scale of the apartment but also heightened the sense of getting away from it all and concentrating the mind on the important holiday pursuits of sightseeing and theatre excursions. It was an ideal habitat in which to enjoy and explore the city of London and one gained a true essence of the life of the city both past and present with its myriad of historical and cultural icons at one’s doorstep. I would be happy to recommend it to anyone and hope you have as an enjoyable week as I had.

Re: Red Lion Square 2BR

Dear Judith
We did have a great time in London. No doubt you know that we were upgraded as a result of the heating failure at Soho Square. The flat at Red Lion Square was lovely. Renting somewhere in London is something we would do again. We were able to see London, relatives, friends and have some time to ourselves without having to trek across the city from side to side. Thanks for all your help Regards Hilary

Re: Soho Square

Hi Judith,

We had a great time! The flat was perfect and the location was exactly what I wanted. (We saw four shows!) I will definitely be in touch the next time we are in London. Thanks again for all your help!

Re: Soho Square 2BR

Judith,

Thanks for checking in! We got home late the night of the 14th. We had a marvelous time in London (and throughout our 3 week stay). We couldn't have asked for better weather (except in Paris where it rained our whole stay). The flat was top notch and very convenient to all of the theater we attended while there. The kids liked being in a bit more funky area!! Thanks for your assistance!! Hope the rest of your summer is as beautiful as it was during our stay!

Re: Thurloe Street 2 bedroom apartment

Dear Judith,
We had the BEST time thank you! Apart from the perfect weather which I'm very grateful to you for organising, the flat was in every way just perfect too. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the little garden outside was a lovely bonus, and the general elegance of the rooms was very pleasing. The proximity to the station was extremely convenient, yet when we were inside it was lovely and quiet. I would recommend the flat to anyone.

Re: Upper Woburn Place

Dear Judith,
We had a wonderful time in London. Thank you so much for fixing us up with such a great apartment! Our friends back here can't believe we got such a nice place for such a reasonable price. My husband's co-workers have already been asking for your e-mail and website for planning their own trips. Thanks again for taking such good care of us.

Yours,
Susan P
